Notice: Weeds Being Treated June 23rd, weather permitting

The Findley Lake Watershed Foundation is pleased to announce that various types of weeds will be treated in DEC-approved areas in the southern portion of Findley Lake on June 23rd – weather permitting. If the treatment date is changed, the FLWF will update this notice. 

Aquathol k will be applied to treat various nuisance weeds in these 6 Acres: 

And ProcellaCOR EC will be applied to treat Eurasian watermilfoil in these 48 Acres:

Applications will be conducted by the firm Ready Scout (DEC Pesticide Reg.# 18575).  Water use restrictions will be in effect in the southern portion of the Lake for the period indicated in the table below. 

Signs will be posted at boat ramps notifying users of the water use restrictions. When all water restrictions are lifted, posted signs will be removed.
